Terms & Conditions
All work carried out comes with a 3-month promise. If you encounter any issues with your bike, just bring it back and I’ll happily correct any issues within 3 months of the work being carried out with no additional labour charge. This does not include normal wear and tear, damaged parts or lost parts.
All new parts fitted come with the manufacturers’ warranty only. Crankworkshop Ltd does not offer its own warranties on any parts fitted.
Inspections should be carried out by the end user before and during every single ride, especially after a service when parts have been removed and re-fitted to the bicycle. This includes asking:
o Are the tyres inflated to the recommended pressure?
o Are the wheels fastened securely?
o Do the brakes work effectively?
o Are there any cracks or damage to any parts?
o Is the pedalling performance smooth?
o Does the drivetrain perform gear shifting smoothly?
o Is there any looseness in any component parts?
o Are all components securely installed to the bicycle?
o Do any abnormal noises occur while riding?
Following a service on your bicycle it is also essential that you perform a bolt check on all bolts on your bicycle after approximately 100km or 4 hours of riding (whichever comes first) using a torque wrench to re-check the tightening torques, and thereafter continue to check the tightening torques periodically. Torque settings can be found in the owner’s manual for your bicycle. If you don’t have a torque wrench then please bring your bike back to us to have this done. There will be no charge for this.
Cycling can potentially be a highly dangerous activity that can result in death or serious injury. The end user of any cycling equipment is solely responsible for their own equipment, as well as its safe use and upkeep.
