E-Bike Services (plus £30 to any service package)
Service options for any pedal assist E-bike
E-bikes of any kind still require the same regular servicing as any other bike. Everything other than the motor is essentially the same as a traditional bike and therefore should be serviced in exactly the same way.

For an additional £30 we do an ‘e-bike add on’ to service all of the electrical components on your e-bike, this includes:
Checking for software updates.
Removing the motor from the frame and cleaning it externally.
Checking all electrical connections, cleaning, applying electrical contact grease and reconnecting.
checking all wiring is in good condition and routed correctly.
This does not include the internal workings of the motor or battery.

Crankworkshop is happy to offer mechanical servicing and repairs to electric bicycles, as long as they are:
under 30kg.
fitted with tyres less than 3 inches wide.
pedal assist.
Examples of bikes that will be accepted as shown above: e-MTB, e-cruisers, e-commuters etc.
Unfortunately we do not offer any servicing or repairs to electric bikes that are:
over 30kg.
fitted with tyres wider than 3 inches.
throttle operated.
